Dr. VIjayeta Sinh, Ph.D., is a psychologist, life & relationship coach, teacher & speaker. As a clinician for the last 17 years, she seamlessly bridges science and spirituality to help others awaken to their potential & possibility by making peace with their past, opening their hearts, and living fulfilling lives. Dr. V’s unique blend of wisdom incorporates elements of science & eastern spiritual practices with a focus on the heart as the primary driver of healing and transformation. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from Columbia University, New York.

Vijayeta Sinh, Ph.D. is a psychologist, life & relationship coach, teacher & speaker. At her practice TherapycouchNYC, she awakens others to their potential & possibility by making peace with their past, opening their hearts, and living fulfilling lives. Dr. V’s unique blend of wisdom incorporates elements of science & eastern spiritual practices with a focus on the heart as the primary driver of healing and transformation. She is also committed to making psychology more accessible and palatable for the average person so they may live more conscious lives. Through her heart-centered coaching approach, Dr. V assists others in achieving their fullest potential, living with a deep purpose, creating a massive impact in the world, and doing all this with joy and happiness.
Dr. V’s 17-year career spans an integration of psychology, wellness, mindfulness, energy healing, life coaching, neuroscience, and spirituality. She’s worked with hundreds of clients from all over the world, especially through her immersive premium coaching program (Heart Alchemy) and her intensive individual therapy & coaching.
Dr. V holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from Columbia University and is a Supervising Psychologist at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, and Teachers College at Columbia University. Born and raised in India, she is fluent in Hindi and has a deep understanding of cultural and social issues as they relate to work, career, marriage, parenthood & diversity.
Dr. V has been regularly featured in the media including Forbes, BBC, Good Day, New York, Fox5NY, KTLA5 Morning News, WGN-TV Chicago Morning News, NBC News, WCBS 880-AM, Business Insider, Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping, Monster, and Family Circle. She is a contributing writer for Psychology Today and has been a speaker at the Brainwave Series at the Rubin Museum in New York City.
